In this month’s edition we learn more about The Innovator’s DNA. Hal Gregersen, INSEAD Senior Affiliate Professor of Leadership and co-author of the book, explains how bright thinking can add 50 percent or more to a company’s market value. The research led to the publication by Forbes of the book’s Innovation Premium List of the 100 most innovative large companies in the world. Cees van Lede, Chairman of Heineken’s supervisory board, shares with us his company’s new love of social media in The Big Interview. We also explore two different pieces of leadership research – one that urges top management to venture beyond their corporate walls, and the other that dares you to come to terms with your darker side. And in the United Arab Emirates, efforts towards Emiratisation of a largely expatriate workforce may be a case of “too much too soon”. We look forward to your comments.
