Leonie Koban
Biography
Dr. Leonie Koban studied Psychology at the University of Konstanz (Germany) before earning her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Geneva (Switzerland). Before joining Prof. Hilke Plassmann's group at INSEAD in October 2018, she was a postdoctoral associate at the University of Colorado Boulder (USA). Her research uses brain imaging and behavioral methods to investigate how social and contextual factors shape emotion, decision-making, and health outcomes. In her current projects at INSEAD, Leonie studies how food choices are shaped by interactions between gut bacteria, brain activity, and social-affective factors.
