Charles Delagarde

Biography

Charles Delagarde is a Research Associate at INSEAD, working on projects in the field of Humanitarian Logistics in the INSEAD Social Innovation Centre (ISIC), under the leadership of Professor Luk Van Wassenhove. His current focus is on Fleet management, where he tries to understand how international NGOs can build successful Internal Vehicle Leasing Programs. Outside the humanitarian world, Charles is also involved in the EU ResCoM project, which aims to develop a new framework for the implementation of closed-loop manufacturing systems.

Before joining INSEAD, Charles worked in the field of logistics. His first experience was with Médecins Sans Frontières (large international NGO), where he had an IT-management related role at one of the organization’s largest supply centres. He then joined Solvay (chemical industry) to acquire more experience in logistics management.

Charles holds a Master in Business Engineering (high honours) from the Université Catholique de Louvain, with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
