Gautam Seshadri

Biography

Gautam has nearly 15 years of experience in Investment banking, corporate strategy, entrepreneurship and venture investing. He started his career within the Fixed Income Sales & Trading division of UBS Warburg where, he managed the firm's relationships with some of the largest insurance companies, hedge funds and institutional money managers in Europe. Gautam co-founded a start-up in the F&B space in India, which was exited. Subsequently, Gautam was a founding member of Aarin Capital, a leading globally-focused venture investment firm. At Aarin, he was principally responsible for the firm's direct investments in early stage tech ventures in India and the US. He led the firm's investments in a number of marquee companies in India and the US including Byju's Classes and Counsyl. Gautam also served as interim Head of Strategy at Stempeutics, a leading global stem-cell therapeutics company.

Gautam transitioned out of Aarin Capital in 2016 to found ZPX, a global private tech investment platform that advises its clients on secondary transactions in mid-to-late stage private tech names. He is an occasional angel investor. He was an early adopter of Bitcoin, and closely tracks and believes in the burgeoning public crypto/blockchain asset class.

Gautam is a BSc (Honours) graduate in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and has an MBA from INSEAD. He is also a CFA Charterholder (USA).
