
Camelia Ilie
Biography
Dr. Camelia Ilie is Dean of Executive Education at INCAE Business School and Chair of the Center for Collaborative & Women Leadership. She teaches leadership development, neuroscience, transformation and organizational change. She is an Engineer specialized in Optical and Biomedical Devices, with a Summa Cum Laude Doctorate from the Pontificia de Comillas University in Spain, DEA from the Complutense University, and Senior Executive Program from ESADE and Babson College.
After starting her career in atomic physics and military technology research, Dr. Ilie has held executive and academic positions in leading Spanish schools, such as: ESADE and IE; and has collaborated and developed alliances with: Georgetown, Babson, Austin Texas, Insead, Columbia University, among others. She has designed and launched more than 200 training programs in management, and has done consulting and training in multinational companies and public entities in Europe, USA, and Latin America, such as: Telefonica, Banco Santander, BBVA, Iberdrola, Bank of Spain, Copa Airlines, PWC, E&Y, Novartis, BID, among others.
She has been involved in Development Programs for Women Leaders in Europe and Latin America for more than a decade. She participated in the creation and leadership of the LIDERA programs in Spain, under the auspices of the European Union and the Government of Spain, which has prepared more than 1,000 women for leadership positions. In INCAE she created, since her incorporation five years ago, a portfolio of programs for high potential women, executive women and business women, which includes more than 250 graduates in 15 Latin American countries to date.
