Biography
Hami Amiraslani is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at ESMT and a Visiting Professor at INSEAD. He holds a PhD in Accounting and an MSc in International Accounting and Finance, both from the London School of Economics. Previously, Hami was a full-time faculty member at INSEAD and a visiting scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Hami’s research examines topics in the area of capital markets, corporate governance, corporate sustainability, financial contracting, and regulation. His recent research has been published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Accounting and Economics and Review of Accounting Studies. Prior to academia, Hami worked as a banking consultant in the area of originating syndicated loans and project finance deals.
