Biography

Aparajita Agarwal is an Assistant Professor in Strategy at INSEAD. As a strategy scholar, Aparajita studies firm and entrepreneurial strategy in emerging markets with a focus on how firms leverage digital technology and data as a conduit for business growth, innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive market creation. Her research examines these dynamics in institutionally challenging and resource-constrained environments. Her work has been published in Organization Science, Knowledge@Wharton, and in the De Gruyter Handbook of Sociology of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Aparajita brings twelve years of industry experience, having worked with leading global organizations including Boston Consulting Group, Amazon, and the Godrej Group, where she led strategy and business assignments across India, Africa, and the UK. Aparajita received her doctoral degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru.
