Hagen Schweinitz

Biography

Hagen is a seasoned Executive Search and Governance Advisory consultant who specializes in highly confidential C-Level Executive and Board/Non-Executive searches across all industry sectors. He is leading Eric Salmon & Partner’s Global Board and Governance Advisory Practice. A major part of his work is the recruitment and evaluation of Non-Executive Board Directors.

He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) in Brussels and has published several whitepapers on Blockchain and corporate governance, non-executive directors in fast-growing technology companies and on corporate governance in Iran.

Hagen is a member of the board of directors of INSEAD International Directors Network and currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee as well as a member of the Nomination and Governance Committee.

He is an active member of the Oxford Business Alumni organization and currently serves as President of the regional OBA chapter. He has been a Mentor for Oxford Women’s Leadership Community's "Ascent" Programme and is supporting "European Women on Boards" (EWoB) and the Armenian Corporate Governance Center as a guest lecturer in their programmes for female board directors.

He is a speaker and panelist for organizations and conference audiences, discussing topics related to corporate governance and technology, most recently in Belgium, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania and Armenia.

Hagen was educated at the University of Oxford, where he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School and took part in the High Performance Leadership Programme (HPLP); and at INSEAD, where he completed the International Directors Programme (IDP-C) and the Certificate in Global Management (CGM). He is a member of the Royal Society of Asian Affairs in London and a Life Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland.

He speaks English, German and Farsi.
