Biography
Minter Dial is a renowned international speaker, author, filmmaker and prior member of the Worldwide Executive Committee of L'Oreal Professional Products Division, where he worked for 16 years in 4 countries. Minter creates bespoke executive programs designed to activate brand and digital strategy. A storyteller who enjoys exploring the diversity of media formats, he is the author and producer of the award-winning WWII documentary film, The Last Ring Home (Nov 2016), which aired nationally in North America (PBS), Australia and NZ (History Channel). His second book, Futureproof, How To Get Your Business Ready For The Next Disruption (Pearson Sep 2017) co-written with Caleb Storkey, bowed September 2017 and won the Business Book Award 2018 in the category of Embracing Change. His latest book, Heartificial Empathy, Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence (Dec 2018), won the Book Excellence Award 2019 in the category of Technology and was finalist for the Business Book Awards 2019. He is non-executive Board Director of ECV Paris and previously of Lastminute.com Group. In terms of studies, Minter was educated at Eton College (1978-1982), received his BA in Trilingual Literature from Yale University (1987) and gained his MBA at INSEAD, Fontainebleau (1993). Minter is passionate about The Grateful Dead, padel tennis and languages. He is the host of the award-winning weekly podcast, Minter Dialogue, and blogs at MinterDial.com.
