Paul Harvey

Biography

Paul is Lead Faculty in OB at INSEAD, where he serves on the faculty and coaching staff of numerous open-enrolment and company-specific executive programmes for high potential and senior executives around the world.

As a Director for a global investment management company, Paul crafted and implemented strategies for hiring and developing talent across the Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions. As an instructor, consultant, and coach he designs and facilitates leadership development initiatives for cohorts of managers, intact teams, and individual executives. Paul draws on different methodologies to deliver leadership development, group consultation, and executive coaching. Common to all his work, however, is a reflective and experiential component, resting on the principle that adults learn best through experience. 

Paul combines the latest organizational behaviour research with real-world industry experience in management and organisational consulting, financial services, HR, and entrepreneurship, to help leaders find ways to grow and thrive through change, adversity, and complexity. He works mainly with global corporations and international institutions. At INSEAD, he has been involved in executive programmes for companies in the professional services, financial services, precision engineering, oil and gas, government, hospitality, and technology sectors. As a consultant and executive coach, he has worked with leaders and teams from a wide range of organizations and cultural backgrounds. He works virtually and on site with clients across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the US. 

Paul holds an MA in Organizational Psychology from INSEAD, an MA in Mythology and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and is currently writing his thesis for his PhD in Mythological Studies. Born and raised in England, he has lived abroad for over thirty years in Singapore, India, and the USA. He lives in Washington DC with his wife and two teenage children.
