Ravi Kaneriya is Head of Asia for Social Engagement at the World Economic Forum. He is a practitioner and expert in community building, leadership development, design thinking, and community management. In his role, he oversees the development and implementation of community strategy for the Global Shapers Community, Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, and Forum of Young Global Leaders across Asia.
Previously, Ravi was also Senior Community Manager for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa at the World Economic Forum's Forum of Young Global Leaders. Prior to the World Economic Forum, Ravi was a consultant at the learning and development firm, BTS, and was engaged in community management work for AMIDEAST-Tunisia as head of its American Corner. Ravi has also worked at Hitachi Research Institute, Shelter Suites & Hotels, and Rawabi.
Ravi possesses an Executive Master's Degree in Global Leadership from the World Economic Forum's Global Leadership Fellows Program, a program held collaboratively with INSEAD, the University of Pennsylvania, London Business School, Columbia University, Cornell Tech, the THNK School of Creative Leadership, and the China-Europe International Business School. He is also a graduate of The Fletcher School at Tufts University, The College of New Jersey, and HEC-Paris.
A native of the United States, Ravi has lived in 9 countries, including Japan, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan, France, Switzerland, Nigeria, and Morocco.
