Patricia van Loon

Biography

Patricia joined INSEAD Social Innovation Centre as Postdoctoral research fellow in April 2014. She gained her PhD in Logistics from the Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2013. The thesis, with the title “An Assessment of the Sustainability of E-fulfilment Models for the Delivery of Fast Moving Consumer Goods to the Home” was sponsored by Procter & Gamble.

She also did an MSc in Operations Management and Logistics and a BSc in Industrial Engineering, both at the Technical University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. During the masters, she followed courses in sustainable logistics at Chalmers University in Sweden and performed her master thesis on the topic of green reversed logistics at Ericsson.
